None of the 4 items listes above requires a politician. Each requires all of us to prioritize our health over other less important pursuits. If you are a parent, health and wellness must be one of your top priorities. If not You and Your Family will live a less vital, less meaningful and shorter life!

Current Healthcare:
In 2008 Americans Spend $2.3 trillion on healthcare. In contrast we spent $253 billion in 1980 and $714 billion in 1990.
It is estimated that our National Health Expenditure will increase from 16.2% to 17.3% of our GDP from 2008 to 2009. This would represent the largest one year increase in history.
Seventy Five percent of national healthcare expenditure is spent on chronic disease.
Since 1999 family premiums for employer based health coverage have increased by 131%.
Based on past behavior of politicians most Americans are skeptical about thier motives as they relate to healthcare.

This week I will be interviewed about my thought on exercise and healthcare. I can assure you that my thoughts do not fall in line withwhat you hear on TV.
Psychology:
Every physical activity we engage in has an impact on us mentally and emotionally. In the coming weeks I have a chance to sit down and talk to and expert in the field of exercise and psychology about these correlations. This interview will help you to explain and change the way you feel about exercise!
Exercise:
In my humble opinion we as Americans have only one way to reduce the costs of healthcare. We can only do that becoming a healthier nation. Don’t wait and hope for politicians to provide you with anything especially as it relates to you health and wellness. Take it upon to improve your health, Gluttony must be gone.

Fat is a Macronutrient, so by definition this means we need a certain percentage of our diet to consist of Fat! So that you can better understand this statement let me provide two definitions, Nutrient and Macronutrient:
Nutrient (definition) -a chemical that an organism needs to live and grow or a substance used in an organism’s metabolism which must be taken in from its environment. Nutrients are the substances that enrich the body (Wikipedia, 2010).
Macronutrient(definition) -Nutrients needed in large quantities (Wikipedia, 2010).
So if Fat is a nutrient that our body needs in large quantities in order to exist and operate efficiently why is it so demonized in our society. The reasoning for this occurrence is that just like many natural available substances, we have chosen to overindulge in the worst types of FAT. If you have spent any time at this site you know that I work hard to give you accurate fitness training advice. It is particularly aggravating for me to have to listen to all of the misinformation and propaganda that surrounds weight loss fitness training. My aggravation comes from people who are trying to sell fitness products based on bogus information that is harmful to you the consumer.
In the above video and in my article posted on my facebook fanpage “Simple Scienct The Truth About Carbohydrates” I talk about carbohydrates. The fact of the matter is that carbohydrates are not what make someone gain weight. Eating more calories that you burn in a day is what causes weight gain. My hope is that you walk away from viewing this video and reading my article gives you enough information for you to make an informed decision about your carbohydrate intake.
