Right Resolve, Making Your Resolution Permanent!

75 % of All New Year’s Resolutions Fail…

The Secret To Keeping Yours Is “Right Resolve”

==> Where Are You Now? PDF <==

I am not a very big fan of our approach to New Year’s Resolutions.  Don’t get me wrong I love to hear that someone is truly resolved to improving their quality of life, but it takes more than a desire to change.

In my personal and professional experience I have found that people who set a goal and build a clear set of actions to achieve the goal have a much higher degree of success.  Now I know this is not news to you.  Goal setting programs are everywhere, and I am going to give you my personal approach to achieving a goal in this video series, but I also want to do something else…

I wanted to produce a video series where I could share my story with you.  You see I believe that you are much more likely to stick with your resolution if you know that there are others out who have gone through the same struggle you have.   Most of you don’t know this but for most of my adult life I struggled with severe lower back pain.  It got so bad that I was unable to walk.

My Life As I New It…Was Over

I want to share with you how I got it back, in the hopes that it will encourage you to maintain your resolve!

Fat! The Final Macronutrient!

January 2nd, 2010 No comments

If Fat Is A Macronutrient, Then We Must Need It…

Getting Comfortable With FAT!

Fat is a Macronutrient, so by definition this means we need a certain percentage of our diet to consist of Fat!  So that you can better understand this statement let me provide two definitions, Nutrient and Macronutrient:

Nutrient (definition) -a chemical that an organism needs to live and grow or a substance used in an organism’s metabolism which must be taken in from its environment.  Nutrients are the substances that enrich the body (Wikipedia, 2010).

Macronutrient (definition) -Nutrients needed in large quantities (Wikipedia, 2010).

So if Fat is a nutrient that our body needs in large quantities in order to exist and operate efficiently why is it so demonized in our society.  The reasoning for this occurrence is that just like many natural available substances, we have chosen to overindulge in the worst types of FAT.  In the video above and in my Facebook Fan Page article “Simple Science – The Truth About Fats“ I have provided you with enough information to get you eating the right type of Fats in the proper quantity.

I hope you enjoy the video above and my Facebook Fan Page Article:

Simple Science: The Truth About Carbohydrates

December 27th, 2009 No comments

Carbohydrates are not necessarily the problem…

Too many calories are what leads to weight gain!

If you have spent any time at this site you know that I work hard to give you accurate fitness training advice.  It is particularly aggravating for me to have to listen to all of the misinformation and propaganda that surrounds weight loss fitness training.  My aggravation comes from people who are trying to sell fitness products based on bogus information that is harmful to you the consumer.

In the above video and in my article posted on my facebook fanpage “Simple Scienct The Truth About Carbohydrates” I talk about carbohydrates.  The fact of the matter is that carbohydrates are not what make someone gain weight.  Eating more calories that you burn in a day is what causes weight gain.  My hope is that you walk away from viewing this video and reading my article gives you enough information for you to make an informed decision about your carbohydrate intake.

==>Body By Eats<==

As of right now Leigh Peele is the only person I have actively endorsed on this site.  This is not to say that there aren’t others on the internet who deserve my endorsement.  It means that Leigh has proven to me through her interactions online with subcribers, visitors and me that she is most interested in helping people get it right!

I assure you that once when you participate in her Body By Eats program and you implement what she teaches, you will look and feel much better than you do today!  She will change the way you think and feel about Food!

The Raschad Jones Project Conclusion

November 11th, 2009 No comments

You will not believe it, after 72 hours he lost 6 lbs…

Below find out how many pounds he gained after 7 days…

Wow! After 7 days Rashcad gained 12lbs…Why?

The answer is simple.  After 3 days of poor eating and dehydration Rashcad began to lose muscle.  He did not lose fat, he lost muscle.  Muscle that will take time to re-make.  The weight he gained happened when he gave his body the water and other nutrients it needed.  Since his body did not know he was going to continue to feed and hydrate it, so it held onto the water and nutrients.  That is why he gained 12 lbs.

Over the following few days Rashcad’s weight settled down to about 183.  The net result was that he ended up losing 2 lbs.

Below find out what other Personal Trainers had to say!

Come back on Saturday to here my final thoughts and advice

on how you can use food to look and feel the way you want!

The Rashcad Jones Project – Body Comparison Analysis

November 5th, 2009 No comments

See for yourself the changes Raschad Experiences in his

body…

Be sure to look closely at his stomach and waistline.

Raschad commented in an earlier video that he gains weight first in his stomach and waist.  This video shows clear proof that after only 72 hours his skin becomes loose and saggy.

Take a look at his back and his face…

Pockets of fat on his waist, bags on his eyes and pimples

on his skin.

This video is incredibly revealing.  Raschad’s face has drastically changed for the worse.  If you know any young people who struggle with skin problems and eat poorly this is evidence that you diet does impact your skin.

In our remaining videos…

1.  His staggering weight loss/gain statistics after 72 hour and after 1 week.

2.  The after effects on his weekend football game.

3.  Reaction from other Certified Trainers.

4.  Plus some behind the scenes video.

I will be posting these items over the next 5 days!

The Rashcad Project – 48 Hours – Life at Home Raw and Uncut

Life at home Raw and Uncut!

Rashcad speaks candidly about life at home.

Sometimes it is difficult for us to understand how what we eat can impact our life at home and our relationships.  In this video Raschad speaks candidly about how this project and his 78 hour diet change is impacting life at home.  I think you will be surprised to learn that after only 48 hours:

1.  He is not interested in being active with his son.

2.  He feels so poorly that he could not imagine regular intimacy with his wife if he were to continue this diet.

3.  He is certain that long term this type of diet would cause his relationships at home to deteriorate.

While neither Rashcad nor I wish to condemn anyone for their food choices we do want you to consider how your food intake impacts the people who are closest to you.

Coming Up on Wednesday…

The Raschad Jones Project 48 hours and Raschad Breaks…

October 31st, 2009 1 comment

Only 48 hours into this radical diet change Rashcad Breaks…

Raschad made a wise decision to stop his training session.

At this point in the project Raschad undergoes significant Cardiorespiratory and Circulatory issues:

1.  His heart rate spiked to 180 beats per minute 4 times.

2.  He was wheezing and short of breath.

3.  He is suffering from lack of blood flow to his muscles.

4.  His upper body musculature began to ache and his joints are in pain.

In the interview below Rashcad details his experience…

I believe that Raschad made a wise choice.

While working hard is a very important part of a successful training program you must also listen to your body.  Many times we see individuals come to the gym after eating poorly, sleeping very little and generally treating their body poorly.  The end result will always be some sort of physical break down and pain.

As Raschad advocated responsible fitness professionals should always advocate true lifestyle change.  We know that it is not always possible to make radically changes overnight, we encourage a long term commitment to improving all facets of your lifestyle.

Be sure to visit us again Monday Morning!

We will take an uncut, raw look into how this diet is effecting his family life.  Impacts that include:

1.  His relationship with his son.

2.  His relationship with his wife, including how he feels about intimacy.

3.  His unwillingness to be active.

4.  How he believes his quality of life would be impacted in future years if he were to continue this diet.
