In 2008 Americans Spend $2.3 trillion on healthcare. In contrast we spent $253 billion in 1980 and $714 billion in 1990.
It is estimated that our National Health Expenditure will increase from 16.2% to 17.3% of our GDP from 2008 to 2009. This would represent the largest one year increase in history.
Seventy Five percent of national healthcare expenditure is spent on chronic disease.
Since 1999 family premiums for employer based health coverage have increased by 131%.
Based on past behavior of politicians most Americans are skeptical about thier motives as they relate to healthcare.

Every physical activity we engage in has an impact on us mentally and emotionally. In my humble opinion we as Americans have only one way to reduce the costs of healthcare. We can only do that becoming a healthier nation. Don’t wait and hope for politicians to provide you with anything especially as it relates to you health and wellness. Take it upon to improve your health, Gluttony must be gone.
