It has been many months since I have made a new post at this site, and for good reason. Last fall my life changed dramatically. I was introduced to an entirely different way to look at health. As a result I invested a great deal of time and money into myself and my practice. I began to understand that true health can only be achieved by satisfying our body’s needs at the cell level. For me this realization was both liberating and daunting because our body’s have between 80-100 trillion cells. The question that came to mind was:
How can a person satisfy it’s needs at a cell level, when we have so many cells?
Well that started a pursuit for me that lead me to become an SOS Manual Therapist and Metabolic Typing Advisor. It also gave me clear direction in my research and study. Research and study that while exhaustive, that gave me a better understanding of our oxygen exchange system, endocrine system, nutrition and mineral intake and many other vital systems within and outside our body’s. Since then I have read countless articles, reviewed countless scientific journals, made many new friends, traveled to Toronto twice and improved my own health in ways I never thought to be possible.
Even though I feel like I am just scratching the surface in understanding how our body’s function I feel it is time to share the information I have learned with you. To do this I am going to make many changes to this site. In the future when you visit this site you will find information that you have not seen or heard of in other places. The information you will find here will respectfully challenge what you currently believe to be true about your health and wellness.
So I encourage you to visit the site as frequently as you would like. I also welcome you to ask questions about and even challenge the material you find here. You can do this simply by leaving a comment.
I look forward to having you back to this site in the future!
Strength is a matter of the made-up mind. – John Beecher
Strength in any form is a function of your thoughts. In fact I will take it a step further. Strength, whether physical, emotional or other is a posture you take, which is supported by your faith and relationships.
Any individual can build big muscles, the process for that is settled science. I know many people in the gym who have massive muscles who are truly weak, empty and vulnerable inside. I contend that true strength is obtained when we develop our physical, emotional and spiritual strength from the inside out.
In my audio series “Strength Without Massive Muscle”, I talk about building strength, click here to listen…

Are proper Nutrition and Exercise a family priority?
Have you ever sat down with your husband and wife and discussed your family agenda? Have you ever taken the time to consider your family’s course? Even further, what activities are you building into your life and your children’s lives that support your family’s priorities?
Family’s need structure and priority. Family’s need to have a written list of objectives and daily activities that support these objectives. When you manage your family activities this way it provides a sense of purpose and clarity for you entire family. Without planning this way you allow outside forces to determine your family’s identity.
Where does proper nutrition and exercise fit in your family objectives and daily activities? I believe it should be somewhere near the top the lists. In fact I believe that it is as essential learning reading, math, science and language.
If you have not set down with your husband and wife to create a set of written family objectives and activities I suggest you do so today. I would also include your children in this process. Following this planning process you must take action. You must act on what you have identified as the most important objectives for your family. Otherwise you have wasted your time and created confusion for your family.
I have a resource I would like to suggest for you and your family. It is a book titled “How To Eat Move and Be Healthy“. It is written by Paul Chek, a world renowned Holistic Health Practitioner. It is a great place for family’t to start their Nutrition and Exercise learning. You can actually read the first chapter for free by visiting the following site:
Individually we all have the Power to make the decisions we know to be best for us. We also have the power to Influence ourselves and our loved ones to take Responsibilityfor out actions. When we take responsibility for our actions we can then make the necesary Changesto improve our individual health, contribute to a healthier America and help to reduce to the long term cost of our healthcare.
The only institution able to produce this type of change is the American Family!
1. Quality Family Relationships – Mother, Father, Brothers and Sisters
2. Proper Nutrition – Metabolic Typing
3. Proper Exercise – Movement
4. Spiritual/Emotions – Motivating Interest – Desire To Be Better
None of the 4 items listes above requires a politician. Each requires all of us to prioritize our health over other less important pursuits. If you are a parent, health and wellness must be one of your top priorities. If not You and Your Family will live a less vital, less meaningful and shorter life!
The answer is simple they both stink. When you view the video above you will learn that in 2008 we spent $2.3 Trillion on healthcare. It is estimated that by the year 2019 we will spend $4.5 Trillion on healthcare.
Guess how long it would take us to pay off $2.3 Trillion if we paid $1 every second of everyday? how about if we tried to pay off $4.5 Trillion the same way? The video above has the answers.
I have a favor to ask you. If you feel like you have friends who might benefit from the information in this video interview series be sure to send them to this site!
“We Have focused on treating Illness rather than promoting prevention and wellness. The negative consequenses of this sick-care system are taking a toll on our health, our economic stability and futures of our children and grandchildren.”
- Richard M. Carmona, 17th U.S Surgeon General
Current Healthcare:
In 2008 Americans Spend $2.3 trillion on healthcare. In contrast we spent $253 billion in 1980 and $714 billion in 1990.
It is estimated that our National Health Expenditure will increase from 16.2% to 17.3% of our GDP from 2008 to 2009. This would represent the largest one year increase in history.
Seventy Five percent of national healthcare expenditure is spent on chronic disease.
Since 1999 family premiums for employer based health coverage have increased by 131%.
Based on past behavior of politicians most Americans are skeptical about thier motives as they relate to healthcare.
The Only institutional force that can effecively decrease the long term cost of healthcare is:
The American Family

This week I will be interviewed about my thought on exercise and healthcare. I can assure you that my thoughts do not fall in line withwhat you hear on TV.
Psychology:
Every physical activity we engage in has an impact on us mentally and emotionally. In the coming weeks I have a chance to sit down and talk to and expert in the field of exercise and psychology about these correlations. This interview will help you to explain and change the way you feel about exercise!
Exercise:
In my humble opinion we as Americans have only one way to reduce the costs of healthcare. We can only do that becoming a healthier nation. Don’t wait and hope for politicians to provide you with anything especially as it relates to you health and wellness. Take it upon to improve your health, Gluttony must be gone.
Paul Chek is a world renouned Holistic Health Practitioner. His book by itself will improve the quality of life if you simply read it and begin to apply the priciples it teaches.
